I'll find beautiful landscapes, to fill it then
for that beauty is free of judgement of me
I'm not its burden, I can savour it free
I can step on a mountain with open arms
and embrace in honesty its divine charms
What it feels and intends is not my concern
for I am trusted, that is something to yearn
I can gaze over delicate slopes and curves
and touch it with devotion, that it deserves
No cringe nor rejection for my love of this
Nor am I despised for momentary bliss
I fear not of unknown, veiled duplicity
My openness is countered with honesty
I'm always allowed, not dismissed when inapt
Our endearing liaison, need not adapt
Yes, seasons will change and the weather may turn
I may be away and circumstance may churn
but when I return, it will still be the same
We will be together, nobody to blame
To myself I must say, I love you my friend
you are true to me, on you I can depend
for you are me, and I do know you so well
others may befriend, but with you I shall dwell
I know that tomorrow, you'll still be my friend
You'll not make me unwelcome for todays trend
Our unconditional bond makes us aspire
to take a few risks, to our hearts desire
I'll not exploit you, nor will you exploit me
what we will do, will be in sincerity
so we may be just a little bit naughty
but we'll do what we may, albeit haughty
If ever another may want to join in
they must be as open and as pure within
for why should we share such a beautiful bond
with one less open, stirring murk on our pond
